Goitre Treatment

Goitre:

• Goitre in a condition in which there is an enlargement of the thyroid gland Symptoms to look for:

• Painless swelling at the base of neck • Excessive cough • Difficulty in swallowing and breathing • Pressing feeling inside the throat • Hoarse voice Causes:

• Iodine deficiency • Inflammation of the thyroid gland Natural home remedy using flaxseeds:

1. Take 2 tbsp crushed flaxseeds 2. Add little water 3. Mix well and make paste 4. Apply this on the throat 5. Wash off after 20 min 6. Dry with a clean piece of cloth Natural home remedy using sorrel leaves and olive oil:

1. Crush a handful of sorrel leaves 2. Add 2 tbsp olive oil 3. Mix well 4. Apply this paste on the swelling 5. Wash off after 15 min Natural home remedy using dandelion leaves and clarified butter:

1. Take a handful of dandelion leaves 2. Crush them to make a paste 3. Add 2 tsp clarified butter and mix well 4. Heat the mixture till it turns lukewarm 5. Apply this paste on affected area 6. Leave it for 15 min 7. Do this for 2 weeks Tips:

• Consume food rich in iodine like; o Pineapple o Carrot o Garlic o Onion o Oats o Whole rice o Lettuce o Tomatoes o Strawberry o Guava o Cucumber
