Skin -Boils Treatment

Skin -Boils:

• Boils occur when there's an infection in the hair follicle or an oil gland on the skin • This infection leads to red pus filled boils on the skin • The areas usually affected are: o Face o Neck o Buttocks o Armpits o Thighs

Symptoms to look for:

• Boils are, o Itchy o Painful o Irritating

Causes:

• Bacterial infection of the skin • Consumption of antibiotics over a prolonged period of time • Medical conditions which can lead to boils, o Diabetes o Blood disorders o Obesity o Anaemia

Natural home remedy using cumin seeds:

1. Take 50 g cumin seeds 2. Add a little water 3. Crush to make a paste 4. Apply on the boils

Natural home remedy using onion and garlic:

1. Take 1 chopped onion 2. Add 2-3 chopped garlic cloves 3. Press this on a sieve 4. Extract juice 5. Apply this on boils 4-5 times everyday

Natural home remedy using milk cream, vinegar and turmeric powder:

1. Take 1 tsp of milk cream 2. Add 1 tsp of vinegar 3. Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder 4. Mix well 5. Apply this paste on the boils

Tips:

• Unhygienic conditions facilitate bacterial activities and can lead to boils • Choose soap which suits your skin • Bathe regularly • Always apply a moisturiser after bathing
